"Watching your child struggle is one of the hardest things a parent can do. You don't have to figure this out alone."

Sandra Singer, Counsellor & Coach

Life can feel like a lot.

Whether you're a child or young adult navigating school, friendships, and big emotions, or a parent trying to support your child through it all, things can become overwhelming, confusing, or just hard to talk about.

This is a safe, supportive space where kids, teens, and families can explore what's really going on, build understanding, and take steps toward feeling more connected, confident, and in control. Sessions happen in person in North Vancouver or online, and the approach is compassionate, evidence-informed, and shaped around each person's strengths, not a formula.

How it goes

From tangled to clear.

Arrive as you are

Worried, stuck, or just not sure what comes next. That is the right starting point.

Untangle it together

Week by week, the knot loosens. What felt like one big problem becomes a few small ones.

Leave with a direction

Not a lecture and not a label. A next step that feels like your own.

Meet Sandra

Professional training on one side. Lived experience on the other.

Sandra began her counselling practice in London in 2012, across charities, schools, and private work, and now practises from North Vancouver: in person on Lonsdale Avenue and online across the UK, Canada, and worldwide.

More than 400 families have worked with her through anxiety, OCD, low confidence, and neurodiversity. She is also a mum of two neurodivergent teens, so none of this is theoretical.

How I've helped

Real families, real turnarounds.

Rose

age 9 · separation anxiety

Rose worried constantly that something bad would happen to her mum, and doubted herself at school. Together we loosened the worry's grip, and her parents got their evenings back.

Lukas

age 12 · anxiety & control

Lukas's anxiety showed up as controlling behaviour, at home and at school, and he could not sleep alone. He learned to recognize and manage the worry, and his parents learned to see what was driving it.

Hanna & Louise

two overstretched parents

Three kids under four, two very different parenting styles, and constant arguments about discipline. A few sessions built a shared approach: calmer mealtimes, more team.

"Your help was invaluable in moving from a situation where we just didn't know what to do, to one in which there seem to be a lot more possibilities."
