The legal page, in plain words
Privacy, plainly.
What we collect, what we never collect, and your rights in both countries. Short on purpose.
What this site collects
Very little. If you send the contact form, we receive what you typed: your name, your email address, and your message. The site asks for nothing more, and we ask you not to include clinical detail in that form; those conversations belong in sessions, not in email.
Booking and session records
Booking a call happens through a scheduling service, which handles your name, contact details, and appointment time to make the booking work. Clinical records from sessions are held confidentially and separately from this website; the website itself stores no clinical information about you or your child.
Confidentiality and its limits
What is said in sessions stays confidential, including from parents, within limits that are explained plainly to every family at the start: where someone is at risk of serious harm, or where the law requires disclosure, confidentiality gives way to safety.
Your rights
The practice serves families in Canada and the United Kingdom and works to the privacy laws of both: Canada's PIPEDA and BC's Personal Information Protection Act, and the UK GDPR for UK clients. In both places you can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for corrections, and ask for deletion of what the law does not require keeping. To do any of that, use the contact form or raise it in session.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses the minimum it can get away with. Any visitor analytics are aggregate and anonymous: enough to know which pages help people, never who you are.
